This week I continue my celebration of the release of The First Principle by conducting another character interview. Read earlier interviews with Vivica, Drake, and Ben.
Genevieve Wilkins is the governor of the Great Lakes Region in the United Regions of North America and a recent presidential nominee. She’s also Vivica’s mother.
Here’s what Governor Wilkins has to say when I gave her five random words.
1.) Thermostat
Moderation. When I was a member of the Council of Representatives prior to being appointed governor, I worked on an energy-saving initiative that put limits on thermostats in all homes throughout our great country.
2.) Hours
Inadequate. I simply have much I want to accomplish while I’m governor. Of course, I hope to achieve great things while I’m president. I’m thankful I have my loyal assistant Melvin by my side to help make every hour count.
3.) Party
Governor’s ball. It’s my favorite event every year. My faithful assistant makes the event possible, and he always chooses the most fabulous menu and decor. My only worry is the guest list.
4.) Cloud
Rain. I adore rainy days and hearing the sound of rain drops pattering on the roof and windows while I sleep.
5.) Politician
Excellence. I believe that as a politician I’m expected to serve with excellence and do my best to ensure the people under my watch are safe and secure.
Thank you, Governor Wilkins. Next week is the final interview, and we’ll hear from Officer Martina Ward.
